Back to school . . . that phrase usually evokes thoughts of fresh packs of notebook paper, crisp fall leaves, and giggling with friends about summer adventures. At least that's what it means to me.
It's a little bit different when "back to school" really means a new semester of college in the middle of freezing cold Ohio weather . . .
I really shouldn't complain, it was back in the 30's today. A far cry from the -10 degrees with ice last week.
I have started a new semester at Ohio University Zanesville, and since last semester went so well, I decided to take 20 credit hours this time. I trek to school on Monday through Wednesday and then enjoy an extended weekend while I work on my two online classes as well. At least that's the plan. I haven't even gotten through a whole week yet, and I'm already anticipating a very full fifteen weeks!
In the meanwhile, I hope to still spend time here with all of you, continuing to document our love story, share a new venture of ours, along with some thoughts on what it's really like to juggle school, church, work, and home while trying to catch some shut-eye now and then . . .
But for today, I'm focusing on being back to school.
What about you?
Are you in college right now?
Would you like to be?
Any tips on achieving balance?
I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks for reading,
Keep living joyfully,
Melody Maynard
